Shinhwa finished off their Asia Tour with their last stop, Beijing.
On July 7, Shinhwa completed their Asia tour, “2012 SHINHWA GRAND TOUR-THE RETURN.”
“Hello! We are Shinhwa!” which is their famous introduction was yelled at the beginning of their concert. As this was their last concert, member Shin Hyesung commented, “Since today is our last concert, we will strive to show you the best performance!” The members also commented in chinese for their fans, which melted the hearts of many.
Due to Jun Jin’s back surgery, he was not able to dance his best on this stage. However, the other members danced twice as hard in Jun Jin’s place. They sang many of their hit songs, “Hey Come on”, “Wild Eyes”, “Perfect Man”, “How Do I say” and many others.
As this was also Beijing’s first Shinhwa concert, the fans had prepared many events throughout the performance. They all held orange glowsticks and signs with the member’s name on it as well. They also made the words, “Shinhwa” using their glowsticks. During their song, “Once In A Lifetime,” the first floor stood up and made a heart sign by putting their arms in a heart shape on their heads. Also, for Lee Minwoo’s birthday coming up, they sang him a birthday song and prepared a candle event as well.
As their concert continued, the fans began to stand up and sing a long to the songs. Their title song from their 10th album “Venus” was a big hit as the whole place filled with the sound of the fan’s singing along.
As the end neared, Lee Minwoo stated, “When we started the Asia Tour, we didn’t think that the end would come by so fast. We’re sad to think that this is already the end.” Jun Jin commented, “Every time we went for an overseas concert, we were worried if the audience seats would be filled. Thank you all so much for coming.” Andy added, “I am happy that we were able to keep our promise and come back to greet you all on stage.” Eric and Hyesung stated, “We will bring out a new album next year and we are excited for what next year will bring us.”
They ended the concert with their song, “Brand New” with Jun Jin included. The fans shouted for an encore in which Shinhwa responded by singing 2 more songs. The concert ended with everybody from the staff to the dancers, coming up on stage and taking a bow.
With the end of the Beijing Concert, Shinhwa will be wrapping up their 10th album activities. They plan on doing individual activities for the rest of this year. They will continue their show on JTBC “Shinwa Broadcast.”
Shinhwa has been together for 14 years since their debut. The 6 members have promised that they will return again next year. They will continue to stay together and perform as long as there are fans that support them.2012 SHINHWA GRAND TOUR IN SEOUL”THE RETURN”DVD
