IU and MBLAQ perform “Rainism” in Hong Kong
IU and MBLAQ recently gave a joint performance of Rain’s “Rainism.”
The July 6 episode of KBS 2’s Music Bank in Hong Kong broadcasted a recorded session of concert held in the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on June 23.
For a special stage to perform local residents’ favorite K-pop, IU and MBLAQ appeared and performed Rain’s “Rainism.”
IU was dressed in a black suit which reminded the audience of Rain and danced the song in a bit awkward but charismatic manner. MBLAQ, on the other hand, gave performed their teacher’s hit song in their own unique way, receiving explosive reactions from fans.
The episode also covered other k-pop singers including TVXQ, the Wonder Girls, CNBlue, B2ST, f(x), and Infinite. They confirmed high popularity of K-pop in Hong Kong.Source: Xportsnews
Two Korean films will feature in the “Un Certain Regard” section of the 68th Cannes International Film Festival from May 13 to 24.
