Big Bang Partners with Samsung
Big Bang kicked off their “Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012″ in partnership with Samsung’s newest smartphone. The concert is a new concept where fans can enjoy their music and tour on the ubiquitous smartphone.
They will kick off their global concert on the 21st of July In Shanghai and later to Singapore, United States, Brazil, and the UK in their 25 city tour of 16 countries.
YG Entertainment said that “Samsung Electronics is delighted to partner with Big Bang” and Samsung sees this as an “important opportunity to experiment how they can help continue the popularity of the K-Pop Wave. Through Samsung’s help, the band will be able to focus more on their music and live concert performances.”
“The tour is a great opportunity for Big Bang to again represent K-Pop music to young people around the world through live performances. We hope this will not be a one time thing but a continuous partnership with Big Bang and other K-Pop bands,” a Samsung spokesperson stated.
The company is also using this opportunity to market their new smartphone.

YG Entertainment revealed that Big Bang had held a concert as part of their Japan dome tour this past weekend and stated that it was a huge success. Currently underway at Seoul Metropolitan Library is an exhibition titled "Reading Traditional Markets". Twenty-four paintings and 25 books about traditional markets are on display at the special exhibition hall of the library located near Seoul City Hall.
