A special set of stamps celebrating the fifth anniversary of Girls’ Generation‘s debut will be released in early August, the girl group’s agency said on Tuesday.”The stamps were made especially for Girls’ Generation, a leading group that stands at the forefront of the global popularity of K-pop. This is the first stamp collection focusing on showbiz celebrities that Korea Post has ever issued”, said SM Entertainment.

The set comprises 14 stamps including nine containing a picture and autograph of each of the band members, and five featuring the group’s album covers. It costs W20,000 (US$1=W1,139) and will be available from August at over 50 post offices nationwide. The set will also be on display at the Korea Philatelic Exhibition from Aug. 9 to 13 at the COEX Convention Center in southern Seoul.
