On July 3, ZE:A released their new album, Spectacular, at the Yonsei University Concert Hall. They were seen with more mature voices and visuals, keeping the thousands of female fans on the edge of their seats. It's been a year since their last digital single, "Exciting."
Impact, from the same agency as ZE:A with their soon-to-be-debut, opened the night. Members of Impact expressed, "We want to support our seniors of ZE:A. We're really nervous. We hope to receive lots of love when we debut in a few months."
ZE:A stepped on stage with vibrant visuals. They opened with their title song, "Aftermath." In orange attire they burst in cute flavor, which is a side they haven't shown before. Especially noticeable was Im Siwan in the center of the stage. Im Siwan has become very popular through his acting in MBC drama, "The Moon that Embraces the Sun."
After performing "Aftermath," ZE:A also performed "Body to Body", "Never End", Daily Daily", "To Be a Star", "Heart for Two" and "Mazeltov," along with various performances of their individual talents.
Member DongJun riled up the crowd even more by showing off his six-pack, which was seen in the music video teaser.
At the press conference following this event, ZE:A expressed, "We don't have one main song for our group. We hope that our new song, 'Aftermath' will really help us become an all-around idol star for fans. We want this song to represent us."
They confidently added, "After a year of being off-stage, our hearts for performing grew a lot. I know we're making a comeback alongside other top groups but we don't want to be shaken up; we just want to do our thing. Competition is competition."
ZE:A will release their second album on July 4. This album contains a total of 11 songs with the highlight being their title song, "Aftermath," which will hopefully up their level of praise.
