Girls’ Generation Stamps To Release Beginning Of August!

Girl group Girls’ Generation will have stamps that they modeled for, for sale this coming August.

On July 3, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy Korea Post stated, “We are the first to create stamps of celebrities. Due to the popularity of K-Pop and it’s effect on the world, we decided to use Girls’ Generation as models for our first-ever celebrity stamps.”

‘My Girls’ Generation Stamps’ will be to commemorate their 5 year anniversary since their debut. The pictures on the stamps will be from their 3rd album, The Boys, and from their hit songs, “Gee” and “Oh!” It will have a variety of pictures from their album jacket covers as well for a total of 14 different styles of stamps.

The Korea Post also commented, “The release of these stamps will not only help for the growth of our post offices, but also for Korea’s Hallyu culture.”

The price for these stamps will be $20 and will be available for purchase this coming August. 

Girls’ Generation has recently released their Japanese single, “Paparazzi” on June 27.
