Chi Chi Releases MV for Comeback Single "Love is Energy"
Girl group Chi Chi makes their comeback this week with the release their third single “Love Is Energy” and music video.
The group debuted in March of last year with seven members and their song “Don’t Play Around.” They later came back with their second single “Longer” in July. In April of this year they debuted in Japanese with their Japanese version of “Don’t Play Around.”
In December it was announced that members Nara, Peach and Ji-U left the group. New member Shine was added, bringing the group to their current five member roster. The other current members include Semi, A-zi, Boreum and Sui.
Purchasing a premium smartphone used to be a no-brainer for Korean consumers, who benefitted from the hefty subsidies telecom companies provided to lure new users. In 2012, sales of high-end smartphones costing more than 800,000 won ($713) accounted for 96 percent of the 10 best-selling devices, according to Digieco, KT”s economic research institute. But the days when consumers could freely choose a top-of-the-line device are long gone, following a government regulation limiting subsidies to 330,000 won.
