‘Big’ Lee Min Jung and Gong Yoo – Never to Meet Again?

On an episode of KBS drama “Big” that was aired on the 19th of June featured Gil Da Ran (Lee Min Jung) and Seo Yoon Jae (Gong Yoo) parting ways.

After studying in the United States for one year, Kang Kyung Joon arrived in Korea. After living life as Seo Yoon Jae, Kang Kyung Joon was like the real Seo Yoon Jae. With Kang Kyung Joon’s own intelligence and dedication, he studied up on a wide range of publications in medicine and was completely ready to go back to work at the hospital where Seo Yoon Jae used to work before the big switch. The only thing keeping him back from working as a doctor was his fear of blood.

Kang Kyung Joon approached Gil Da Ran with an excuse that Ahn Hye Jung (Kim Seo Rah) was forcing marriage on him. Kang Kyung Joon tells Gil Da Ran, “I’m not asking you to really marry me. Just like the way I helped you act like I was your fiancé, it’s your turn to help me now.”

Kang Kyung Joon put Gil Da Ran in a word trap. He tries to convince her by reminding her that nobody knows about the switch except her and that she is the only one he can depend on. Gil Da Ran hesitates and begins to go over things in her head. While she was looking at Kang Kyung Joon in Seo Yoon Jae’s body, she couldn’t help but remember the amount of love she had for Seo Yoon Jae.

Gil Da Ran tells Kang Kyung Joon, “You know that if I see you again, I’ll be seeing Seo Yoon Jae again, right?” Kang Kyung Joon replies, “It’s up to you, keep seeing me or never see me again.”

To his response, Gil Da Ran says, “Kyung Joon, I really want to be there for you and help but I don’t want to see Seo Yoon Jae’s face again. It was so hard to get over him but do you think I could really do this without rekindling my love for him again?”
Before walking away, Kang Kyung Joon says, “You’ve decided. Let’s not ever meet again.”

Meanwhile, Jang Mari (miss A’s Suzy) sneaks into Kang Kyung Joon’s house to find out what is going on. When Kang Kyung Joon in Seo Yoon Jae’s body arrives, Gil Da Ran follows after him calling out his real name. Suzy finally realizes that her love is trapped in Seo Yoon Jae’s body and begins to cry.
