Another drama about Yi Sun-shin is coming soon for the first time in 8 years.

SBS is preparing a historical called “Biography of Yi Sun-shin” for next year. This is the first drama about Yi Sun-shin since the KBS 1TV historical “Immortal Admiral Yi Sun-shin ” 8 years ago.

“Biography of Yi Sun-shin is produced by Jin Hyeok and written by Park Jin-woo-I. This drama is a fact-fiction about Yi Sun-shin not dying at the naval Battle of Noryang but surviving to establish a land of water. It shows the process of Yi Sun-sin establishing a sea empire while fighting against Yi Gyoon with a woman named Heo Cho-hee who dreams of a new world.

The SBS drama departments added, “The drama has historical figures but the story is based on fiction. Therefore the word “Biography” is added. Because it is imaginary, we can let our minds play along with imagination”.
