Actress Song Ji-hyo will star in the criminal action movie “New World” wby director Park Hoon-jeong.

Her agency told TV Daily that Song Ji-hyo has confirmed to star in the movie “New World” on the 17th.

She will be in the cast with actors Choi Min-sik and Lee Jeong-jae.

“New World” is about a detective who filters into the biggest gang organization in the country, caught in the middle as the boss dies and the second in command trusts him more than anyone else and conflicts arise between the high authorities in the police group.
