Prior to celebrating her birthday yesterday, IU posted the above pictures on her official fan page with the caption, “Thank you for the gifts.

The singer wrote, “So many presents. It took an hour just to unwrap them with my sister. My bbooggoo (puppy) seems the most excited. Thank you guys. I need to give you guys gifts too but what should be good? It’s not even my birthday yet but it sure feels like it. Thank you guys. I’ll repay you guys for sure.

The photos displayed some of the presents that she received before her 20th birthday from her fans. The picture of her puppy with a bubble caption saying, “I like it“, evoked laughter from her fans.

Her fans responded, “Happy birthday“, ”Have a happy 20th birthday“, “Her heart is pretty too“, and “It’s good that she got all the gifts, and she even shared a confirmation picture.”

In related news, IU celebrated her birthday on May 16th.
