Gankiz revealed that they are really embarrassed when they call T-ara as the “old time singers” in official occasions.

Gankiz who will debut in May consists of the already active members: Hwang Ji Hyun, Choi Soo Eun, Lee Hae In, Kim Hae Ji and new members: Gwak So min, Cho Eun Byul, and Esther. The members who have been active: Hwang Ji Hyun, Choi Soo Eun, and Lee Hae In started their activities even before T-ara.

Hwang debuted in 2002, Choi in 2006 as a commercial model, and Lee debuted in 2006. They can all be considered as the “old-timers” to T-ara.

Gankiz revealed, “We thought it’s right to call T-ara as the ‘old-timers’ in the entertainment industry. However, it’s a little awkward and embarrassing to call T-ara the ‘old-timers’ when we see T-ara on our preparations of Japan concert, inauguration ceremony of our fan club, and practice rooms.”

T-ara said that they feel more awkward and embarrassed when Gankiz call them “old-timers” and greet them in a formal and courteous way.

T-ara explained, “It feels so awkward because, in unofficial places, we are just like sisters, but when we are in official places, they call us ‘old-timers’ and pay respect. It’s more so because there are the real ‘old-timer actresses’ Hwang Ji Hyun, Choi Soo Eun, and Lee Hae In.”

Recently, Gankiz created a stir by revealing a music video that they filmed in Europe. They will debut in May with their first official release “Honey Honey.”
