After an overwhelming sweep on Korean music charts, Girls’ Generation’s sub unit TaeTiSeo’s explosive popularity made its way to Billboard charts.

According to Billboard, TaeTiSeo’s debut single “Twinkle” climbed atop of Billboard’s World Album chart and ranked #2 on Heatseekers Album chart. The single has debuted at #21 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart as well.

More notably, TaeTiSeo’s “Twinkle” debuted at #126 on the Billboard Top 200, the highest rank by Korean artist and non-English track.

In K-Pop history, BoA previously ranked at #127 on the Billboard Top 200 while Big Bang’s ‘Alive’ was at #150. Girls’ Generation – TaeTiSeo has written another new record, ranking the highest among K-Pop artists.
