Thai 2PM fans have received attention from the local press, as well as from group member Nichkhun, for their efforts to rebuild a school harmed by last year’s flood. Eighty photos were uploaded to the project’s official Facebook page on Sunday, showing fans hard at work, as well as the finished product.

Directly after the flood, Thai Hottests donated money to aid efforts, with Nichkhun’s mother leading the project. Because they still had money left after donating, they decided to give the rest of the money to Suraolakkon School in addition to helping with restoration.

Although Nichkhun could not attend the event himself, he sent the fans lunch and personally thanked them for their help on Twitter. “To all those who are helping out today, I want to say, your hearts are very pretty!!!” he wrote. “Thank you very much! I hope you are fulfilled today with the good deeds, as well as the chicken rice!”

Meanwhile, 2PM announced earlier this week that they will release their fourth Japanese single, “Beautiful”, on June 6th.
