Baek Ji Young comes back to the music scene with dance music Baek Ji Young is coming back to the music scene after three years.

On April 25, WS Entertainment, Baek’s agency, reported, “Baek Ji Young is coming back to the music scene, releasing a minialbum in mid-May. The title track will be a dance genre.”

Baek is releasing a new album in three years after she released EGO, which included “My Ear’s Candy,” on August 13, 2009. Her new album is especially attracting wide attention from the music scene because it includes dance music.

One of the reasons is because she has topped the charts with soundtracks of many drama series even when she was taking a break.

A spokesperson for Baek says, “We cannot open the album’s concept yet. This minialbum, including the title track, is personally produced by Baek Ji Young. It will be a completely different concept from the previous ones.”

Baek is currently appearing on Mnet’s Voice Korea as a vocal trainer. Her new minialbum will be released in mid-May.
