A man has revealed his changed identity to his old friend who has turned into an enemy and has begun to carry out his plans to avenge his father’s death in the KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama “Man from the Equator.”
On the April 19 episode, Kim Seon-woo (Uhm Tae-woong) begins to investigate the mysteries behind the death of his father after returning home 13 years after he left the country with a rich friend of his dead father’s. He not only recovers his vision but also becomes a successful businessman.
Seon-woo visits a police station at his hometown to review the records of his father’s case, and asks his friend Geum Jul (Park Hyo-joon) to look for the police officers who was involved in the case back then.
Seon-woo appears in front of Lee Jang-il (Lee Joon-hyuk), his old friend who is now a prosecutor on his way to success, as an advising expert in relation to a case Jang-il is undertaking. Earlier, he has met Jang-il but pretended to still be visually impaired to make him keep his guard down.
Seon-woo introduces himself as David Kim and, looking at him right in the eye, asks for a handshake as if he saw Jang-il for the first time. Jang-il is too stunned to say anything.
Meanwhile, Seon-woo also meets Han Ji-won (Lee Bo-young), the woman he loves, for a job interview, but pretends not to know her.
