Tickets for the Dream Concert next month opened on April 17th at 8 o'clock, and the massive traffic of fans who have rushed to reserve their tickets to the annual concert resulted in the website crashing.
The Dream Concert held its first concert in May 1995 to give a sense of hope and dreams to the youth. Since then, the concert has been held every year.
This year, popular Korean artists TVXQ, Girls' Generation, 2PM, 2AM, MBLAQ, 4minute, Davichi, KARA, K.Will, SISTAR, Secret, BEAST, IU, miss A, Infinite, Teen Top, T-ara, and ZE:A.
The "2012 Dream Concert" will be held on May 12th at 6PM KST at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Big Bang recently proved their high popularity by crashing website server only in 30 seconds after they started selling tickets for their Indonesian concert.
On June 12, according to YG Entertainment, Big Bang will hold their concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 13 and the tickets for the concert sold out as soon as they put them on sale on June 9.
An Indonesian online media outlet said, Tickets for Big Bangs first Indonesian concert sold out. All tickets were booked only in 10 minutes on Ticket.com and over 50,000 people crashed My Ticket server only in 30 seconds after selling the tickets.
A local official said that the ticket site restored its server and started selling the tickets again but they also sold out not even in an hour.
A spokesperson for the agency said, After the group toured Japan, we started selling tickets for their world tour in Indonesia. Even though they are not performing in Indonesia, they showed off their dignity as a K-pop representative.
Big Bang is currently touring Japan to meet 255,000 people. The group released their special edition Still Alive in Korea and receiving a lot of attention thanks to their title song Monster.
The tickets for the "2014 Dream Concert" went on sale recently with the confirmation of its full line up. With top groups announced to be participating, it"s no wonder that ticketing sites like Interpark are reported to have experienced server crashes.

As previously announced, the 20th Anniversary Dream Concert will take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on June 7 at 6 PM KST (Saturday). The confirmed lineup now includes Girls" Generation, EXO, B2ST, 4minute, B1A4, A Pink, Girl"s Day, T-ara, ZE:A, VIXX, U-KISS, BTOB, Rainbow, Block B, Boys Republic, Dal Shabet, Topp Dogg, F.CUZ, SPEED, GOT7, Tiny-G, LU:KUS, Lip Service, BESTie, Say Yes, SoReal, C-CLOWN, N-SONIC, M.Pire, OFFROAD, Jjun, HALO, and YB.

A representative of JYJ’s entertainment agency C-JeS Entertainment wrote on January 7, “The 16,000 tickets for ’Your, My and Mine’ was sold out in two days.”
Once ticket sales were open the homepage shut down because of the users that logged on at the same time. Also, when sales were going on Jaejoong’s name was the number one search term on different portal websites.
The representative of C-JeS Entertainment stated, “This concert is the first time that Jaejoong will be having his solo concert. Jaejoong has made special preparations for this concert and will show his skills as an all-around entertainer. The concert will have three parts: Fan meeting, project history talk, and mini concert.”
On January 8 at 12pm (KST) Jaejoong released “ONE KISS.” The song was released through various different online music digital websites such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and Olleh.
The ticket orders for JYJs documentary movie The Day crashed server for Lotte Cinemas website.
On February 20, Lotte Cinema started selling tickets in advance for the movie, which will be released only in Lotte Cinemas. The movie will play in 8 theaters, where JYJ members will also visit to meet their fans.
The websites server was crashed as soon as the cinema started selling tickets. Lotte Cinema tweeted, Over 110,000 people rushed to the site and made the server crash. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We will do our best to restore the website.
The documentary movie, featuring JYJs everyday life, was going to air on QTV but the plan got canceled. Then the movie was going to be released in GGV theaters, but CGV finally decided not to release the movie. As a result, the movie will be released in Lotte Cinemas on February 23.
The movie will play in 8 theaters in Seoul, 5 in Gyeonggi, 4 in Gyeongsang, and 1 in each Chungcheong and Jeolla Provinces starting on February 23 through 26.
JYJ members will visit 4 theaters in Hongdae on February 23 and 4 theaters near KonKuk University on February 25. The cinema will start selling tickets for the movie without having JYJ members appear on February 20 at 4:oo p.m.
