Royal Pirates show you a piece of ‘Heaven’
Korean-American rock band Royal Pirates are back again doing what they do best, doing cover songs in their own unique style. They just released a youtube video doing a cover of Ailee‘s ‘Heaven‘! Of course, jazzed up to suit their rock signature style, and at a lower pitch.
Royal Pirates is made up of 3 members; Sooyoon Kim, Moonchul Kim, and James Lee (who joined later in 2009 as the bassist). They shot to fame by doing remakes and cover songs such as Wonder Girls‘ Nobody, DBSK‘s Mirotic and Super Junior‘s Sorry Sorry just to name a few.
They are also talented in song-writing. Sooyoon Kim wrote and released his own demo song Like Butterflies. They made their very first music video for the song ‘Disappear‘. With such great talent, fans are hoping for them to debut officially and get signed on.
Not ony that, the trio are confirmed to be performing at the upcoming Mens Fashion Week 2012 in Singapore in April. So keep a lookout for them. For more exciting updates as RP has promised, do follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
