The movie Old Boy by director Park Chan Wook is listed on 50 Greatest Movie Fights Of All Time of a popular British movie website, Total Film.

According to the industry on March 19, the scene in which Oh Dae Su (played by Choi Min Sik) appears in a corridor holding a claw hammer and gets into a physical fight after being released from a private prison in 15 years was listed on the 39th of the chart.

Total Film says, “There’s nothing very fancy here, just a lot of hammer-swinging. Simple, but effective.”

The top ranking of this chart belongs to Raging Bull by Martin Scorsese from the 1980s. The boxing fight scene of Jack LaMotta (Robert De Niro) and Sugar Ray Robinson (Johnny Barnes) earned the highest remarks.

The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke ranked eighth while Kill Bill vol.2 featuring Uma Thurman and the Bourne Supremacy starring Matt Damon are placed on tenth and thirteenth. Bruce Lee’s Way of the Dragon, Keanu Reeves’ the Matrix, and Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky IV ranked 15th, 22nd, and 38th on the chart.
