On February 21st, Kim Tae Hee was supposed to attend the press conference for her new CF for the Japanese cosmetic brand of pharmaceutical company, Rohto. However, just one day before the actual event, the cancellation occured.
According to Japanese sports newspaper Sponichi, the event got cancelled because of hateful comments on internet community boards and various blogs in light of Japan’s ‘Takeshima Day’ on February 22. Her agency eventually decided to pull her out of the scheduled event because of safety concerns.
Kim Tae Hee appeared in the Japanese drama, “Me and My Star’s 99 Days” but began to receive criticism from anti-Korean Japanese protestors in October 2011. The reason was that Kim Tae Hee had advocated the disputed Dokdo Island as Korean territory.
FT Island to Release 13th Japanese Single in April
FT Island will be releasing a new single album in Japan.FT Island will be releasing its 13th Japanese single Uncharted Future (translated) on April 2, which will include the title song of the same name as well as two other tracks. Got7 Signs With Record Label Sony Japan: Group To Make Japanese Debut In April

On Monday, the group"s record label JYP Entertainment announced that the group has signed a recording contract with Sony Japan and will perform at two showcases in the country in April.
