Idol groups Big Bang and 2PM were both honored by Japan's Oricon charts under 2012's Best Concerts.According to the Oricon site on January 9th, the two groups were listed within the top 11 concerts that took place in Japan last year. Big Bang held shows from last May for their Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 In Japan, while 2PM held their six-show 2PM Live 2012 Six Beautiful Days tour in Japan.Other acts that made it onto the list included Namuro Amie, Yamashita Tatsuro, Oda Kazumasa, and Perfume.The top 11 concerts were chosen by Oricon's editor who attended 141 different concerts in Japan and screened through them carefully for the highest-quality shows

Upcoming MBC drama "My Girlfriend is an Agent - Drama" revealed still cuts of Joo Won and Hwang Chan-seong. Joo Won is wearing a grey tuxedo and Hwang Chan-seong is wearing a black one. Today JYP Entertainment stated 2PM is set to release their 3rd full-length album within this year. The members that have released their 2nd full length album Hands Up in July of 2011 have mostly been focusing on overseas activities such as their Asia tour and Japanese promotions

Six-member idol group 2PM will be making a comeback after nearly two years away from the K-pop scene. According to JYP Entertainment, 2PM will be releasing their 3rd full-length album within this year. After the group’s release of their 2nd album ‘Hands Up‘ in July of 2011, the members have been focusing on their Asia Tour and Japanese promotions as well as other overseas activities. It was originally planned for 2PM to make a comeback in the second half of 2012, but the plans were postponed due to Nichkhun‘s DUI incident

Hallyu star Kim Hyun-joong began the new year in Japan. Kim left for Kobe on Saturday to kick off the Japan Tour 2013 titled "Unlimited", according to his agency KeyEast Entertainment. The first leg of his tour was scheduled to be held at the Kobe World Memorial Hall last night. He will visit nine other Japanese cities during the tour including Saitama, Nagoya and Fukuoka.KeyEast said the 26-year-old singer arranged many of his hits in a band format and would sing them during the tour. The songs include some from his second single album in Japan, "Heat", which was the biggest hit last year among K-pop groups
