MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon admitted he had no plans to buy expensive gifts for his girlfriend.

On a recent episode of jTBC‘s ‘Idol Preview‘, Lee Joon shared that he recently purchased a new home. But his fellow members revealed how much of a penny pincher Lee Joon actually was. “We have never even seen him go shopping,” they said.

Lee Joon then began talking about his relationship style. “Even when I have a girlfriend, I only write her letters and never buy her expensive gifts. It’s not even like we’re going to get married and we can break up, so I only invest feelings and not material things.”

“But I’m clingy and obsessive,” he admitted. “When my girlfriend doesn’t pick up because she’s sleeping, I keep calling her until the morning. I keep redialing on my phone on speaker while I’m on the computer,” he said, shocking everyone on set.

Member G.O. who personally witnessed Lee Joon do this added, “It’s like he’s trying to break some kind of record.”

Lee Joon then sent a video message to his former girlfriend who he called incessantly. “I am very sorry. I’ve changed in a lot of ways, please forgive me.”

“But even if start dating again, I still don’t plan on buying expensive gifts for my girlfriends,” he added, causing everyone to laugh.
