Alcoholic beverages could be required to hold expanded fitness warnings, the Ministry of Health and Welfare stated on Thursday.The ministry said it is going to existobligatory for brandsto incorporatemore potent labels on bottles to elevate awareness of the health dangers of over the top drinking. It would take effect from September.
The new labels target pregnant girls and juveniles, caution them that drinking can heighten the chance of birth defects and purpose liver-related diseases. They also come with warnings of the higher risks of cancer and dementia. Currently, such labels best warn that extreme drinking can cause cirrhosis and liver cancer.
