On the 26th of February, “Survival Audition K-Pop Star” was aired on SBS. The episode showed the contestants who have placed 2nd competing against each other to move on towards the live auditions next week. The final 10 contestants who will move on were chosen.

In this week’s episode, BoA gave Lee Michelle positive feedback on her performance, “I Couldn’t Cry.” BoA commented, “The situation fit perfectly. My heart was hurting so much while I was listening to your song.” Park Jin Young also said, “You sang so well. Each word you sang hit me hard.”

For Lee Seung Hoon, Yang Hyun Suk commented “You really are an artist like Park Jin Young said. You came up with a choreography in 30 minutes and it was a good performance.” 

For Son Mi Jin, Park Jin Young stated, “You didn’t hit any wrong notes even when this melody is really hard to sing to. You did so well.”

For Park Jae Hyung, Park Jin Young responded, “I think you emptied yourself today. You sang so carelessly today. You were so comfortable singing. You performed the best today.” and gave him postive feedback.

Park Ji Min, who was chosen to move forward, received comments from Park Jin Young. He stated, “Since you’re so young and you’re feeling desperate, you’re not singing well.”  BoA also responded with negative feedback of “I think it was too much stress for a 16 year old could handle.”

For Oh Tae Suk, Park Jin Young said “You went back to your bad habits again. You almost become a pro singer but then return to that next door neighbor.”

Yang Hyun Suk told Lee Gun Woo, “I saw a new potential in you today. You showed us something new today.”

The judges chose 4 contestants who will also be part of the live auditions next week. Regarding the results, Yang Hyun Suk stated, “It is very unexpected. Very interesting” and began announcing the results.

First person who will move forward was Lee Michelle, next was Park Jae Hyung.

Oh Tae Suk was cut, as well as Lee Gun Woo. Both contestant showed tears and judges expressed their sadness as their journey came to an end.

Lee Seung Hoon was the next to move forward and Park Ji Min was also chosen to move forward, meaning Son Mi Jin was cut from the auditions.

The 10 contestants who will sing at the live auditions will be: Baek Ji Woong, Baek Ah Yeon, Lee Michelle, Park Ji Min, Lee Seung Hoon, Lee Jung Mi, Kim Na Yoon, Lee Ha Lee, Yoon Hyun Sang and Park Jae Hyung.
