t-ara, Eunjung, Soyun, speaks in Japanese, france
T-ara greeting the fans in France in Japanese has become a controversy.
On February 8, T-ara performed on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank in Paris”.
On the day of the show, T-ara said, “Arigatou” (thank you in Japanese) in front of not only the local reporters in France but also the other reporters from all around the world.
T-ara said, “Bonjour” (hello in French) before taking the photos, but after the photos were taken, while they were leaving, Eunjung said, “Arigatou”. Soon after, Soyun also said thank you in Japanese. The reporter who was filming T-ara was embarrassed to see T-ara speak in Japanese and not in English or French.
T-ara’s behavior was different from other singers who spoke in French, English and Korean. This video clip has been posted on video sites and has become the center of controversy. But some say, Eunjung seems to be saying, ” Ahbiangtto” (see you again in French), but Soyun’s greeting is clearly in Japanese.
Netizens commented, “Isn’t it because the Japanese reporter asked a question?”, “It’s not even a concert in Japan. I wonder why they spoke in Japanese”, and etc.
