Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook won the ‘Excellence Award’ at the ‘Entertainment Daesang’.

The ’2011 SBS Entertainment Daesang’ took place on December 30th at 8:45pm at the SBS Public Hall in Deungchongdong, Seoul with MC’s Kim Yong Man, Kim Won Hee, and Shin Bong Sun. Actress Song Ji Hyo and singer Kim Jong Kook won the ‘Excellence award’ jointly for the category of variety.

Song Ji Hyo expressed she her gratefulness as she said, “In reality, I don’t have any feel for variety. I’m actually shy but I really thank the production staff who have made this possible.”

Song Ji Hyo added, “There isn’t anything I could do so I worked hard. I will run hard next year too.”

Though Song Ji Hyo boasts absolutely stunning beauty also, it was her down to earth ways thathave earned her a lot of love on ‘Running Man’. Song Ji Hyo is the only female member on ‘Running Man’ and she is a true team member who makes up the much moved ‘Monday Couple’ with her Monday boyfriend Gary. Song Ji Hyo’s impressive run on ‘Running Man’ has earned her a nickname the Ace and her cute blank stares earned her another nick name Mong Ji Hyo.

Singer Kim Jong Kook is known for his smooth voice that has the ability to melt down any female heart. On ‘Running Man’, Kim Jong Kook shows off more than just the smooth side. Kim Jong Kook’s skillful turn on ‘Running Man’ has earned him nicknames like Sparta Kim Jong Kook and The Commander. Kim Jong Kook had said at his win, “I thank the members that gave me love though I am lacking. On our program, the staff really goes through some tough times. Thank you. I will work hard” and smiled.

As Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook won the ‘Excellence Award’, the power of the love of the viewers for ‘Running Man’ could be felt. It is a good day for ‘Running Man’

The nominees for Daesang at the ’2011 SBS Entertainment Daesang’ include Lee Seung Gi, Lee Kyung Kyu, Kim Byung Man, as well as the national MC Yoo Jae Suk of ‘Running Man’.
